Former Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming was injured and another person was killed Friday evening when the ATV he was driving hit a deer in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. State Police say Fleming, 24, was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital and released on Saturday. The passenger on the ATV, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, was pronounced dead on the scene. According to a police report, neither person was wearing safety equipment, and the crash is under investigation. Fleming, a five-star recruit out of high school and state record holder for receiving yards in Pennsylvania, spent four seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State last year. After catching 14 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown for the Nittany Lions this past season, Fleming signed with theGreen Bay Packersas an undrafted free agent.
