After splitting the first two games of their best-of-three series in the Austin Super Regional, the Tigers and the host Longhorns will square off for a decisive third game Saturday night in the2025 NCAA tournament, with the winner advancing to Oklahoma City for the WCWS. Texas, the tournament's No. 6 seed, fought off elimination Friday night with a 7-5 victory in 10 innings against No. 11 seedClemson, which had taken the first game of the series 7-4 on Thursday. Leighann Goode had a team-high three hits, two RBIs and two runs for the Longhorns in Friday's win.
